Mira Enables the Apple Remote for Any Mac

Not all Macs feature Apple Remote support “in-the-box,” including the Mac Pro desktops and the latest MacBooks. It doesn't matter if you have the newest Mac or an older one, with Mira and a supported IR receiver, you can use the Apple Remote with any application.

Manta TR1 IR Transceiver

Mira and Manta™ TR1

The first product in Twisted Melon's Manta line, the TR1 is an infrared learning transceiver (receiver/transmitter). It connects to an available USB port and along with Mira, enables enhanced use of the Apple Remote control on any Mac.

  • Use the Apple Remote on any Mac with Mira
  • Small - less than 2" square
  • Portable with removable USB cable
  • Position the receiver anywhere, even if your Mac itself is hidden
  • Use repeating actions with the Play and Menu buttons
  • A small LED blinks when a command is received
  • Expandable for IR transmitting/blasting*
